It's been a while since my last post, so I'm going to go through as much as possible in as short amount of time as possible. Ready? Let's do this!
George Mason is in the Final Four. That has got to be the biggest Cinderella story of all time!
Incoming Ohio State basketball recruits Greg Oden, Daequan Cook, and Mike Conley, Jr. all won their respective State championships and all three made the McDonald's High School All-American Team. Oden looked dominant but hardly played due to a wrist injury. Conley didn't see much playing time either. Cook was one of the top scorers in the game with 17 points.
The Columbus Blue Jackets had an amazing come back win against the Red Wings in Detroit rallying from a 3-0 deficit to win the game 5-4 in a shootout.
The Cleveland Cavaliers clinched their first playoff berth since 1997-1998 after Lebron James scorched the Dallas Mavericks for 46 points.
Michael Redd has been hot while leading the Bucks to the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference standings for now.
The Bengals appear ready to sign Pro Bowl defensive tackle and run stopper Sam Adams which should vastly improve their defense.
A hand full of Duke Lacrosse players could face up to 20 years in prison for rape. Teammates have formed a "blue wall," refusing to help investigators which has prompted massive protests on the Duke campus.
MLB Commissioner Bud Selig has asked a U.S. Senator investigate the "Steroid Era" including Barry Bonds which could lead to him being suspended.
Spring Training is getting ready to start for the Ohio State football team and Chris Wells has already enrolled in classes.
Well that was fun. Until next time kiddies!
